• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of four quality professionals, driving a culture of quality awareness and operational excellence.
• Ensure strict compliance with AS9100 standards and defense-specific requirements, ensuring the highest quality in precision-engineered components such as metal machined parts and hydraulic assemblies.
• Oversee product inspections, perform audits, and engage in hands-on problem-solving to address any quality issues and resolve them promptly.
• Utilize quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving methodologies to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Integrate quality data into management systems to streamline tracking, reporting, and decision-making processes.
• Serve as the primary contact for quality-related customer concerns, ensuring quick and effective resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction.Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of quality management experience, with a strong background in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of AS9100 standards and hands-on experience in quality inspection, measurement, and problem resolution.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with defense product specifications, such as MIL-SPEC standards, and familiarity with environmental testing requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of using SPC, FMEA, and 8D methodologies to resolve quality issues.
