It serves Southeast Michigan and has a growing market.Job SummaryManages the School of Histotechnology under NAACLS accreditation standards and DMC policies.Develops and administers the program, selects candidates, and evaluates effectiveness.Selects candidates for the school, participates in budget planning, and maintains current knowledge of the discipline.Assists in student training in Histology methodologies.

• **Baccalaureate degree or higher**
• **ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC certification as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician**
• 3-5 years' experience in Histotechnology Education, including teaching and supervising
• Working knowledge of educational theory or practice
