  • Common diagnoses of patients include Oncologic Emergencies, COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, GI bleed, neuromuscular disease, overdose, oncologic treatment consequences, pulmonary hypertension, autoimmune disorders, and sepsis
  • Common treatments include mechanical ventilation, PA catheter placement, CRRT, arterial pressure monitoring, cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, central venous catheters, chemotherapy administration, complex medication regimens, clinical trials, and plasmapheresis
  • Many patients have underlying pulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions requiring bronchoscopy or endoscopy

    • Skills Required: Vents, IV Starts, Telemetry
