Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg experience required License: Must have a valid compact or state license in hand Certifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS) required Must-Have: EPIC experience Job Description: - Work involves rotating weekdays and weekends, including holidays. - Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. - Expected patient ratios of 1:4. - Orientation hours are 24. - Flu vaccine is required with medical exemptions only. - Candidates must complete fingerprinting urgently upon contract signing, with specific instructions provided by the credentialing team. - Local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius at the same rate. - Former employees eligible for a travel assignment after a 6-month period away from the facility. - Current employees ineligible for travel at Ohio State University hospital locations.
