Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: Valid compact or state nursing license Certifications: BCLS/ACLS Must-Have: - IV Start skills - Telemetry experience - EPIC experience - Previous travel experience preferred Job Description: - Work in a dedicated unit for acute coronary conditions, focusing on cardiac care. - Night shift schedule with potential for weekend shifts; required work may include weekdays and some holidays. - Responsible for floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity as necessary. - Handle patient ratios estimated between 1:2-3 in an ICU environment. - Comply with vaccination requirements, including a mandatory flu vaccine with medical exemptions as the only exception. - Ensure compliance with fingerprinting processes promptly and efficiently. - Engage positively and responsively with the Credentialing team for assignment preparation. Attendance and orientation are mandatory and will include 24 hours of non-billable orientation time.
