Job Description:
SmartSource is in need of a Level II Help Desk Technician for a
6+ month contract opportunity located in Columbus, OH.
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Hours: Must Be Flexible working 2nd or 3rd shift
(ROUGH ESTIMATE HOURS): 2nd shift: 2:30PM-11:30PM or 3rd Shift:
10PM-6:30AM
Job Description: We need someone who has a solid background
troubleshooting Windows based users on a Level II basis. Please
make sure to pay close attention to the hours:
Hours: Must Be Flexible working 2nd or 3rd shift
(ROUGH ESTIMATE HOURS): 2nd shift: 2:30PM-11:30PM or 3rd Shift:
10PM-6:30AM
This is all over the phone support so if you are interested in
working a hands on position this position is not for you. We need a
person who can supply software troubleshooting support over the
phone in a Windows 7 and AD environment. Hardware support on
Tablets, Desktops and Laptops are required. Server background with
adding and deleting users and supplying level II support is what is
required.
Job Qualifications
- Must be willing to take a background test upon an offer being
made
- A+ or MCP certifications are a huge plus.
- 3+ years’ experience working in the IT Field
- Must have Help Desk background!!! NOT ONLY HANDS ON BUT HELP
DESK!!!!!
- Solid Windows XP/Windows 7 software troubleshooting background is
required
- Solid hardware support background on Tablets, Desktops and
Laptops
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Administration
- Basic understanding of Networking Protocols to aid
troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.)
- Must have excellent communication, presentation and documentation
skills.
